In der Nacht gab es etwas Regen, aber morgens war es dann wieder sonnig. Fuer uns hiess es nun den wunderschoenen Peninsual State Park zu verlassen und somit war dann auch die Entleerung der Tanks dran.
We had some rain during the night but it was sunny again in the morning. That morning, we had to leave the Peninsula State Park, and so we also went to dump the tanks.
Unser erster Halt war in Sturgeon Bay, wo wir ein wenig am Wasser entlangliefen. Dort ist auch ein Maritim-Museum zu finden.
We stopped in Sturgeon Bay where we strolled along the water, there one can also visit the Maritime Museum.
Gegen Mittag kamen wir in Green Bay an, wo es uns vor allem um das Stadion der Green Bay Packers ging. Wir liefen zuerst ein wenig den "Oneida Nation Walk of Legends" entlang, wo es diverse Statuen mit Infos zum Team und dem Stamm der Oneida gab. Es war superwarm und so liefen wir nicht die gesamte Strecke, da gerade Pirate bald keine Lust mehr hatte auf soviel Sonne.
Around noon, we arrived in Green Bay, where our main focus was the stadium of the Green Bay Packers. First, we walked along the "Oneida Nation Walk of Legends" where statues tell about the football team and the history of the tribe. We didn't do the entire walk since it was super warm, and Pirate wasn't in the mood for that much heat.

Natuerlich ging es noch zum gucken in den Fanladen.
We went into the fan store just out of curiosity.
Wir fuhren dann weiter bis Marinette, wo wir noch den Leuchtturm besuchten.
We also stopped in Marinette to visit the lighthouse.
Dominik und ich kletterten bis ganz nach oben.

Und am Abend standen wir auf einem kleinen Campground des Ortes Peshtigo.

Ach ja, die cheese heads. Der Deutsche beschimpft so die Niederländer, der Amerikaner nennt den Wisconsinite so. Nicht nett, aber die Locals haben das Beste draus gemacht und vermarkten Ihre Käsehüte seit Jahrzehnten erfolgreich...
