Von der Last Dollar Road ging es dann rein nach Telluride, wir konnten dabei beobachten, wie sich die Wolken mehr und mehr verdichteten. GsD hatten wir noch Glueck und haben die Seilbahn noch mit Sonne erleben koennen.
As we drove to Telluride, we noticed the growing clouds. Luckily, we were still able to enjoy the lift drive with mostly sunshine.
Wir mussten rund 10 Minuten am Lift warten, und fanden es gut, dass immer noch Maskenpflicht war. Die Fahrt durch die Herbstfarben war wirklich schoen. Was ich an telluride besonders toll finde: die Gondel ist kostenlos und es gibt extra Hundekabinen.
We had to wait in line at the lift for about 10 minutes, and we were happy that the mask mandate was still in place. What we really like about the Telluride gondola; it's free, and they have separate cars for use with dogs.

Wir liefen noch etwas die Hauptstrasse entlang, aber die Wolken wurden immer dunkler, Zeit zum Aufbruch.
We strolled a little along the main street but the clouds got darker and darker, it was about time to leave.
Und dann kam auch schon der Regen.
And the rain started soon.
Immerhin kam spaeter dann doch wieder die Sonne raus, also ein ganz normaler Nachmittag in den Bergen.
The sun showed up again a little later, a normal afternoon in the mountians.
