Nachdem das Feuerwerk beendet war hatten wir dann wieder eine sehr ruhige Nacht. Hier mal ein Eindruck von unserem Stellplatz ...

Wir verliessen den Campingplatz gegen 10 Uhr, wir wollten an diesem Tag die Mesa Falls anschauen.
We left the campground around 10 am, we wanted to visit the Mesa Falls.
Von Sueden kommend, kamen zuerst die Lower Mesa Falls.
We were coming from the south, so the Lower Falls came first.

Man faehrt nur ein kurzes Stueck, und dann kommen die Upper Falls. Der Parkplatz und alle Ausweichmoeglichkeiten waren rappelvoll, aber wir fanden dann doch noch einen Platz. Eintritt sind $5 pro Fahrzeug, aber da wir einen State Park Pass hatten, brauchten wir nichts bezahlen.
One drives a few more minutes, and there are the Upper Falls. The parking lot and all overflow were crowded, but eventually we managed to get a spot. Entrance fee to the Upper Falls are $5 but free if one owns a State Park Pass (which we did).

Ausserdem findet man hier auch dieses wunderschoene Holzhaus welches frueher ein Hotel war. Heute ist hier die Besucherinformation zu finden, die allerdings geschlossen war.
Also one can see this beautiful log home which was a hotel in former days. Today it houses the visitor information which was unfortunately closed.
Und fuehrte der Weg dann weiter, da wir noch etwas Weg zum ausgesuchten Campingplatz vor uns hatten.
We continued our drive since we still had to make some miles to get to our desired campground.
Von einem Aussichtspunkt konnte man in der Ferne die Grand Tetons sehen.
The Grand Tetons were visible from a lookout along the road.
Wir hatten Glueck, auf dem Mike Harris Campground gabs noch einige freie Stellplaetze und er war wirklich sehr schoen ($12/Nacht). Abends blieben wir nicht zu lange auf, am naechsten Morgen mussten wir frueh los.
We got lucky, and there were still some empty campsites at the Mike Harris campground. We got a beautiful site, and its only 412/ night. We didn't stay up very long that night since we had to get up early the next morning.
